My husband recently had back surgery with some last minute complications. We had not realized that we would need help until the day before his release from the hospital. On that day I talked with several care-giver companies and they all seemed more interested in marketing their services than meeting my needs. Very fortunately we found Assisting Hands and Tim Bowdish. He was actually interested in listening to our concerns and determining the best way he could help us and he was able to help immediately. Amazingly, starting that next day, Assisting Hands provided 24/7 care in our home for a week. Tim and each one of his staff are very caring and considerate people. They are highly professional, well-trained, and eager to help in whatever way they can. Every care-giver we had was excellent, was right there when needed and was unobtrusive when not needed. Tim is an exceptional care-giver himself and was at our home to cover unusual situations even at 6 AM and 1 AM. Tim and his staff are extraordinary care-givers. We cannot recommend Assisting Hands highly enough.

I was just about ready to give up on an unusual “personal care” situation when I was referred to “Assisting Hands Home Care”. My husband was required to be in a rigid knee immobilizer for several weeks post knee surgery. I could not physically get him in and out of the back seat of our car without risking injury to one or both of us. The owner of this agency, Tim Bowdish, listened to my transportation dilemma and was willing to assist by coming over 3 times per week to transition him into and out of the back seat of our car – the only way he would fit without bending his knee. This was truly a “life saver” solution that solved our unusual “personal care” problem beautifully. I highly recommend Tim and his wonderful, dependable agency.
