I needed help, and fast! Golden Age Companions was there for me. My mother suffered a stroke and was being released from the hospital with only 24 hours notice. We refused to put her in a skilled nursing facility due to Covid, but we didn’t have anyone that could stay with my mom 24/7. She is completely bed bound and incontinent at the moment and can hardly speak. Golden Age had someone at my house the next day to help us get my mom in the house. The caregiver was familiar with my mom’s condition and immediately began caring for her in a way none of us knew how. My father is 92 years old and we were concerned the toll this would take on his health, but now we don’t have to worry. He really enjoys having the caregivers around for support and they even cook meals for him when they are making them for my mother. I will never work with anyone else. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

They play cards and do puzzles and have really bonded. Golden Age’s office even handled everything with my mom’s long-term care insurance policy to ensure we didn’t have to pay out of pocket.
