My mother was a patient at the Harper House for three days. I highly recommend this beautiful place. From start to finish, the staff was kind, gentle, compassionate and caring. They made my mom to feel comfortable and safe. They were informative and caring towards family members and made a very difficult process tolerable .

The staff at Harper House and Hay Madiera House Hospice Care are amazing, respectful and provided my aunt with much dignity and care in her final days. I appreciated the information provided to me by the two main nurses I came in contact with during my aunt's stay. I have experience with Hospices throughout the country from other family members passing away, the nurses at this facility were the most hands on with me and kept me well informed, provided support and education on how our family could help my aunt and give her the comfort she needed in her final days and hours. I can't say enough about the Hospice Homes and the staff that work there. My only suggestion for the Administrator of the facility is to have better signage for the actual Hospice homes. Even the ambulance staff did not know where to take my aunt, and after transporting her inside and finding out that it was an Admin building, we told we would have to remove her immediately even though it was pouring rain outside with no cover porch. Google had provided the address of the Admin building, so Administration should ensure that rescue, ambulance, and hospital staff are well informed of the proper address and signage should be better for visitors.
