The care I am receiving from Homewatch CareGivers Northshore is wonderful, everyone has been outstanding and I highly recommend them.

Homewatch CareGivers of Northshore provides my loved one wonderful care. Throughout the time I've had them employed their staff has been extremely trustworthy and professional. Our caregivers perform numerous daily tasks. Those tasks include changing, bathing, dressing, preparing and feeding meals, laundry, and assisting with required medications. They also work hand in hand with the hospice case manager. I highly recommend Homewatch Caregivers of Northshore because of these reasons.

My mother has used Homewatch CareGivers Northshore for the past four years after suffering a stroke and losing half of her mobility. While recuperating initially, the care facility provided a generic list of home providers and comparisons of costs and services rendered. In interviewing the potential "candidates", Homewatch's Director (Mitch) covered the mandatory issues in much the same way as the others, but his presentation stressed the intangibles such as client goals, personality compatibility and interaction among client, family, caregiver and management. Homewatch made the effort to find my mother day long caregivers that not only had her sense of humor, but that had the patience and endurance to go shopping with her at the local crafting stores. When family members visit, they're often regaled with the adventures of their latest excursions and some good ol' fashioned ribbing back and forth as to who was to blame for what. Her main caregiver, Deidra, has basically become one of the family and a common fixture at her house on many a holiday. Homewatch surveys my mother regularly for opinions as to what is going right, could be better, and anything she wants to mention confidentially. The front office has responded to billing questions and scheduling issues in quick and timely manners. Any caregiving organization can provide services and accountability. Homewatch has lived up their promises and values admirably, looking forward to doing business with them for many years to come.

Homewatch CareGivers of Northshore is a very good agency. I we are very pleased with their continued interest in our loved one. The caregiver they provided takes my husband to different places. Weather permitting he takes him to parks and botanical gardens as well as a few other places. I would recommend their services.

The caregiver that Homewatch CareGivers of Northbrook provided my family, Shaun was wonderful. Our eighty seven year old father loved how adaptable he was, he immediately made our father more comfortable. Shaun was very perceptive and reactive to our fathers needs. I would recommend highly recommend Shaun and Homewatch CareGiver's services!

I am very pleased with the care that Homewatch CareGivers of Northshore has provided my mother. The caregivers that Homewatch CareGivers provided us were both conscientious, helpful, and consistent. They both have shown initiative, and have gone above and beyond in caring for my mother. For example, we recently had an issue with my mother having to go to the emergency room. Shirley was very caring, communicative, and patient in caring for my mother, and keeping me informed of the situation. She spent all the time necessary to see my mother through the situation. Her work was greatly appreciated. Shirley was also helpful in getting my mother the needed pedicure for her feet as well as taking care of things day to day. Annette has shown great attention to detail in alerting me to various moods and behaviors my mother was exhibiting to help me understand my mother’s situation. Annette also spends time talking with my mother and keeping her on her toes. Also they are diligent in keeping up with the light household chores, shopping, etc. They are both trustworthy, competent, and worth every penny of their pay. Lastly, Annette and Shirley have developed a good working relationship between them, and they trust that neither will walk into a situation where there is work undone when starting a shift. I highly recommend the services of Homewatch CareGivers of Northshore.

I am very appreciative of Homewatch CareGivers of Northshore. The caregiver they provided us, Lilly is wonderful, delightful,…a gem! I am thankful for the work they did toward finding someone right for the job and making this happen. We had an extremely positive first day!

We learned 5 months after a caregiver was placed with my mom through this agency that the caregiver was prohibited from working for an agency licensed/certified by the Illinois Dept of Public Health (IDPH). This is noted on IDPH registry and on the background report that the agency is required to run. The reason was an "alleged" theft from an elderly person. We were told by IDPH that this was more than an accusation - that although charges were never pressed, evidence supporting the claim was presented. When we contacted Homewatch and spoke to the social worker and their credentialing "expert", they told us over and over that there was nothing on the background check they ran to indicate the caregiver was prohibited from working through them. We finally called IDHP ourselves, and the person we spoke to immediately confirmed that our information was correct. We then convinced the social worker and credentialing expert at Homewatch to contact IDHP, which they did; they confirmed they were given the same information we were and shortly afterwards the caregiver was removed from my mother's home. We replaced her with someone from another agency. The next day the only call we received was from Homewatch asking why we put a stop on our credit card. The following day we received a call from Mitch Abrams, the owner, telling us that there was a misunderstanding and that again there was nothing to indicate the caregiver was prohibited from working for them. After close to 30 minutes we convinced Mitch that the best thing for him to do was to call IDPH to sort this out. He was supposed to call us the next day--he didn't--but he did call after we followed up with him. He reported that IDPH did confirm that the caregiver was prohibited from working for an agency but then told us: 1. IDPH is very confused on the issue and you get a different answer depending on who you speak to, and 2. That the third person he spoke to told him that based on how confusing the report

I am happy and very grateful for the services provided by Homewatch Caregivers of Northshore's management personnel and Staff. I am pleased with the help provided to The Baracani family over the days/nights of December 23, 24th, and Christmas day 2015; with regards to our needs during that period. I appreciated the expedient response to my requests. The helpful suggestions, listening, attention to detail, the screening, etc. all which allows for finding a person (good match/fit) for my MIL. I would like to note that Julianah Oladipupo is a sharp, caring, professional individual. I could not believe and I was so pleased how Jluianah filled and adhered to every single one of our household guidelines, requests and expectations. She definitely should be acknowledge for her outstanding work; a job well done! If we ever have a need for care of this capacity again we will certainly ask for her services providing she is not on another assignment.- Of course. We love Anne too as our, I call, weekly "Daycare Caregiver with the most-est." Margaret really likes her new "friends". The Homewatch Caregivers of Northshore team provides a good service for those who don't have a lot of family who can drive us or pick us up. I would recommend their services.
