Free Home Safety Assessment

Our team of professionals conduct a complimentary care and safety assessment for each potential client to review and evaluate your need before service begins. That means each family has a specialized care plan that’s developed just for them and which our caregivers will follow during their visits.

Our Rigorous Caregiver Hiring Process

Our rigorous hiring and screening process eliminates majority of all applicants and we only hire the top 5% of all caregivers that we interview. Every caregiver at NuevaCare is a W-2 employees, not a 1099 contractor. We pay for their federal & state tax deductions. To ensure safety, we provide liability and non-owned auto insurance coverage during care. Our caregivers are covered by workers compensation insurance, and we run a criminal background check and DMV record check on all employees.

In addition since NuevaCare is Licensed by California Department of Social Services division of Home Care Services Bureau, (HCO License # 414700022) all of our caregivers are background checked through FBI and DOJ, TB tested, and take the minimum state required training and must have a state ID issued by California Home Care Aide Registry.

Caregiver Training

In addition to the minimum state required training each one of our professional caregivers have access to be trained and certified in courses including Emergency First Aid, Infection Control, Promoting and Maintaining Good Mobility, Elimination and Toileting, Providing Personal Care & Instrumental Activities of Daily Living, and Caring for Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Scheduling and Client Management

Our scheduling a client management at Nuevacare is an aspect of our business that we take great pride in. Using our client management and scheduling system, we work with you to prepare specific care plans. What’s more, families are able to login to our online Family Room system get real-time updates such as when the caregivers arrive, when they leave, and what they did to care for your loved one.

Topics of our family courses range from understanding signs and symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease, managing and coping with challenging behaviors, daily care skills, First Aid and even information on how to create engaging activities for your family member. If at anytime within the first 48 hours of care you are not satisfied with your caregiver for any reason, just call us and you will not be charged for the first 48 hours and your caregiver will be replaced immediately.
