Orchard Lane Apartments

We moved our folks here in 2015. This was the most affordable housing in our area so they could live close to us. They were just completing a total renovation of the Orchard Lane buildings and it was all redone. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and right off a golf course. There is great space for walking the halls for exercise, a nice laundry room inside, a large community area both inside and outside patio. This has been a good choice for them.

I recently moved my father to Orchard Lane. He is pleased. He is paying much less rent than his previous apartment. It is the perfect size for his 88-year-old needs. The management is extremely helpful and there is a full-time maintenance man on staff. The kitchen has few cabinets but there is a large pantry and a large walk in closet in the bedroom. The residents are super friendly. They run daily chair exercises. There is a monthly potluck and movie day. They also have weekly card games. Families can reserve the community room for gatherings that cannot fit in the apartment. The complex is next to the community nursing home. Several residents find it convenient when a spouse must have greater care.
