Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with Right at Home and cannot in good faith recommend their services to anyone, especially in the Venice area. We were told that finding a right fit in a caregiver for my dad and consistency with that caregiver were of the highest priority and unfortunately neither of those things occurred. We experienced multiple caregivers, none of which had similar interests or were even made aware of my dad's interests/history so as to make meaningful conversation with him, and schedulers were calling at all hours asking if we would be open to a new caregiver sometimes even the morning of the scheduled shift. When asked why there were so many changes in care they ultimately told us that Venice is an undesirable area for their caregivers and that it will be near impossible to find someone who would be willing to consistently pick up the M/TH afternoon shifts we were hoping for. This was really disappointing to hear and certainly should have been communicated in our very first meeting with Right at Home. Additionally, there were multiple issues with billing. Money was withdrawn from our account for services that were not rendered and we have been unable to reach the billing contact despite multiple voicemails and requests for a call back.
