I'm caring for my 96 year old grandfather while he recovers from a broken ankle. He is very independent, and normally VERY active. When he is at home, he pretty much just watches tv. He has another month at home, and I'd like to find something else for him to do. Any ideas?
If there are a lot of family photos sitting around in boxes, could he identify the people in them and the approximate dates?
Perhaps there are some chores he could take on now, such as folding small laundry items, matching up socks, cleaning out a dresser drawer that is placed on a table for him, polishing metal items ... anything that takes some energy and would really be useful.
Does he like to read?
