Find Care & Housing
Caregiver2719: I cannot fathom how your sister is consuming some of these food stuffs, especially flour. One would choke on eating flour, seemingly. These "several doctors" who have green lighted this are incorrect. Also, you never should have co-mingled your monies. Your sister may have to apply for Medicaid as she may need to go into managed care facility living, with her financials only. At the current state of affairs, you are going to make yourself physically ill from pure exhaustion and handling toxic body fluids. It is IMPERATIVE that this dynamic be amended. Retain the services of an elder law attorney.

Raw ingredients are not safe to eat. Uncooked flour has been linked to E-coli outbreaks. Eating raw flour and other uncooked ingredients may be contributing to the vomiting and diarrhea due to bacteria. Please look into locking the pantry and the refrigerator for your sister's safety. I agree you can leave out acceptable snacks for her to help herself. Good luck

After thinking on this post for days, I thought about what those raw ingredients were doing to this individual's belly. Yes, I do understand that she vomited, but still - what were those food stuffs doing to her gut?

Bulimia.
Could this be a variation of Pica.
Pica is usually non-food items.
But uncooked flour, sugar, salt, raw ingredients= same as non-food items and can hurt her.

Of course don't allow her to ingest what is not good for her.

The doctors were not listening to you. All they 'heard' was bulemia = over eating, binging on food, then vomiting.

Do not know what to do about it. Thinking a behavioral unit where restraints might still be legal.

I'm not going to give you advice on what to do with your sister, because this far beyond anything I have ever heard of or could deal with. What I will address is the idiot neighbor. First of all, ask her to show you where in the Bible it says you can't work on Sunday. God never said not to work on the 1st day of the week. Then remind her that the Bible says judge not, lest you be judged. Cleaning up necessary messes is never wrong, no matter what day it is.
