Find Care & Housing
If they are on medicare you can have someone check on them during the day. You would have to get them evaluated buy taking them to their family physician and he or she could have the evaluation ordered. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Yes, you have the right to 12 weeks leave to take care of a family member. This will be unpaid though. Take the time to get them evaluated and set up in home services. It is not a good idea to leave said person alone. Confusion can cause all kinds of mishaps. You can look into adult daycare programs and senior services in your area. If you have a local senior center, contact them. They usually know all the local services. Good luck!

Have you checked into the family leave act? your employer is suppose to give you time to take the necessay measures to assist your parent or parents with their medical needs. You owe this to yourself as well as to them to check this out, and get the ball rolling.
