That's right. There are so many types of care homes, like Assisted Living, Nursing Homes, Memory Care Assisted Living, Residential Care facilities, Retirement homes, Independent Living, etc. I'd do searches on the type you need. You can put key words using average cost of care for each one. There are sites that provide the average range for most states. Some states are much less than others. I'm in NC and it must be much less expensive here, because many seniors are here from up North. I have met so many lovely seniors in AL and Memory Care from NY, NJ, PA and Connecticut.
