I'm so sorry for what you are experiencing now. Lean on others. Let them be strong for you while you go through this terrible but important passage. After you have grieved it will be time to be strong.

We noticed mild changes in 2007. Diagnosed a couple of years later. Over the last year I’ve seen a major decline. Stage 6 I would say at this time.

Sunshine, I am very sorry about your Mom and can’t imagine how difficult this time is for you. You don’t have to be strong here. Lean on us. We will share this pain with you. I am fearful of this time with my Mom but for her to finally be rid of this dreadful disease I know will bring some peace. You both are in my prayers.

Nobody is very 'strong' when it comes to saying goodbye to a loved one, that's for sure.

Do you have hospice involved for comfort care for your mom now? If not, you may want to look into it. We had hospice for my dad when he was passing from a brain tumor, and they helped him a lot in the final 2-1/2 weeks of his life.

So sorry for the pain you're suffering right now. I hope your mom will be at peace soon and rid of this dreadful disease once & for all. Sending you a big hug and a prayer tonight, my friend.

Thank you so much for your response, and thank you for your advise. It’s been extremely tough, especially since I was used to her being so happy & lively up to recently, I guess it just hit me all of a sudden & was to be expected with this horrible disease but thanks again for your prayer & May your dad R.I.P, Blessings
