My mother had a stroke about a year ago and is 96 years old in a nursing facility. She has recovered about 85% to where she can walk with her walker. She has been diagnosed with Dementia. We cut back to Monday and Friday to get her laundry, which she insists we do and not the nursing home. She started requesting donuts on Friday to hold her for the weekend, because she doesn't like the food on the weekend. Now she is requesting us to bring her meals from restaurants on the weekend. I don't want to argue with her, but that is a little too much, I think.

I think it is too much that she expects YOU to bring it. However if she can afford it to be delivered to her, why not?

Why do you think her requests are "a little too much?" I mean she is 96 years old and probably doesn't have much longer here on this earth, so why not get her what she wants with her money of course?
And if you can't or don't want to see her on the weekends, you can always have the food delivered as pretty much every restaurant has some kind of delivery option.

Don’t do any of that. Those are ridiculous requests.

If you don't want to deliver the food to her yourself, why not place an order for her and have it delivered. Unless, of course, there's no delivery where you live. Maybe use UberEats for delivery (haven't tried it myself, but heard that it works pretty well). Dropping by some donuts doesn't seem overwhelming, especially if you're going to the facility anyway to pick up/drop off laundry.

If your Mom has the money, and if you're not willing to do it, hire someone who can do it. She is 96, and if she has money, she should definitely have restaurant food :). Donuts, all of it. If not now, then when?
