Hospice cannot help unless the person needing the bed is a client. From my experience, Hospice itself does not provide the bed, they have providers who go thru Medicare for the rental. When the bed is no longer needed, the Provider returns to pick up the bed and any other equipment it provided.

Looks like u read one of the other posts requesting a hospital bed. There were some good ideas there.

I can add to that by suggesting Redcross. There is also a group called Ruritans that have loan closets.

You’ve reached an international forum of current and former caregivers. Many of us had in home hospital beds provided by Medicare during the time our loved ones were using in home hospice services. They were delivered and set up by a medical supply store for us when my dad chose this for himself. Not sure of your situation, perhaps you can contact your doctor or the Area Agency on Aging in your are for further guidance
