I am a widow of an Vietnam veteran and would like to know if I am entitled to have in-home care through the VA.

Find Care & Housing
Your County should have a VA office you can call. There is something called Aid and Attendance you may be able to get.

We cannot not help you with in home care, we are not an agency. Just a forum of Caregivers sharing our experiences. If the VA can't help, try your County Office of Aging. Medicaid maybe able to help u if you fit the criteria.

There are plenty of folks to help you at the VA, and you shouldn't have any issues getting the help you need. Aging Care is not affiliated with the VA, so they won't be of any help.

Contact Vietnam Veterans of America, and get a Veteran Service Officer (VSO) to help you.

Yes PattyRose, you should be eligible for in-home care through the VA, but you will need to contact them yourself.
