Thanks for your reply. Happy to know people, like you, are out there.
I too have been wondering the same thing (when will I find the time), but then again I feel so unprepared for the progression of this, that I thought I better find the time (before a crisis presents itself) and I have no choice, but to find the time. Long story short, I am trying to be proactive and prepared for what I don't know.
The agency on aging referred me to this site and thought that this site would have a list of support groups?
Many facilities with alz or MC units have support groups in my area,, and you can come even if your family member is not a resident there. A friend of mine who cares for her difficult hubs at home goes to the one at my MILs MC! She says it is very helpful
I found this link for your area:
https://groups.psychologytoday.com/rms/state/FL/Estero.html
I hope its a good starting point.

Then I thought, how would I find the time and energy to get to such a support group, and how many would have the same time frame.
Then I found this website :) Greatest support group, ever !!
