How do I get help when I can no longer care for my wife?

Saxxman, contact the local area on aging and ask them for help. They can direct you in placement, emergency services and all that goes with both.

Do a search with your county name and counsel on aging, this should get you to the right place.

Call an agency in your area for in home caregivers or look into Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing Facilities, depending on her level of care needs. Assisted Living requires her to be fairly mobile but if she requires lifting she'll need Skilled Nursing. If you call an agency, be sure to let them know the level of care your wife requires
