Go up to the top line of AgingCare, the blue line and to the magnifying glass. Type into search "getting paid for care" and access some of the information there. It is rare for husbands and wives to be approved to give care but sometimes children can be. Just know it is a pittance of what you would earn actually getting hired to give care to others. Most of the people who got paid to give care show up on forum later homeless, jobless, without a job history, and with mental and emotional issues due to the difficulties of 24/7 caregiving. Some end up in shelters. This is a bad idea for having a job, trust me.
Sure do wish you the best, whatever you decide for yourself.

Most family caregivers are unpaid unless the family can pay. If he qualifies for Medicaid they might pay 12-18 hours a week at minimum age.
