Oh we did sit down with a social worker and nurse practitioner regarding palliative care. I told them we are not at this point. The social worker got involved when I sent a message to the doctor about his depression. I told her he will agree with everything and forget about what we talked about in an hour. I am just feeling really overwhelmed and then Friday I had an endoscopic ultrasound with a nerve block and they couldn’t get me out of the anesthesia. It was pretty scary. I am finally feeling better. But how do you respond to things they think are going to happen but they aren’t? Thank you all. Love you all

Sometimes we just have to let the pieces fall where they may. We can’t fix everyone. Just go along with it and take the advice given. Guilt is an unnecessary burden. Also what is your husband doing?

Give a canned answer (we'll see, soon, etc.) and then try to change the subject. I think it's called theraputic lies!

I like what Barb said. When the doctor says its OK. Which it never will be. This is part of the desease. He may never stop asking.

Take care of yourself.
