I currently go in after him and clean up the floor and toilet seat and flush. We have wood floors and I have removed all the rugs in the rooms. There are two bathrooms that he uses.

I have the same problem. One night he came back to bed with the cuffs of his p.j.'s wet...that's when it began. His wiping is horrible, and I have to clean the toilet seat after every time. I don't wipe him (yet!), but do insist he showers every day. Sometimes the toilet tissue ends up on the floor instead of the toilet. Many years ago, I started having him sit while he pee's, which is a big help. How can he still miss?

I had to make sure that my husband was sitting on the toilet at all times, when he started missing the toilet at no fault of his own. He fought it at first, but eventually it became habit for him.
You can also have him use a hand held urinal that he can hold or you can hold for him. My husband only had use of one arm/hand, so I had to hold the urinal for him overnight when he would have to pee.
And if possible can you limit him to just use of one bathrooms instead of two? That would cut down on the mess as well.
Good luck.

Buy him a big funnel to pee in, go help him sit down or try telling him to clean it up.

Personally, I would go with and make sure he sits down.
