Gabriella, you need to start with a Social Worker. Look up a Licensed Social Worker online and make an appointment. If there is any way to get you some payment for inhome care it is likely through Medicaid, but this Forum would know nothing really about what programs exist in your own area as this is a joint state/federal program.

I think it is a great mistake to spend your young life taking care of elders. You will be an old woman yourself by the time they are gone, and there will not be enough money for you to live, and be insured against illnesses and etc. You will not be able to have your own place, your own money, your own family, your own education.

Please consider taking a job and working. You can give care for a salary at any nursing home where likely they will train you in care. Just my own personal opinion. The pay for caring for an elder in home is dependent on many things including their NEED for 24/7 care. And it is very poor pay when you figure out what you do versus the hourly salary and how many hours you actually are expected to work. If you continue to try to care for THREE people here I suspect you will go mad! Please take care.

You think you've asked for help by filling out a profile on a chat forum, but you haven't. Contact your local Medicaid office yo see if there is some pay available for you, or in home help.

Good luck.

You are speaking now to a Forum of caregivers. We have no idea who you requested help from. If it was someone with an AD on this site, you will have to use that ad again to contact them, or use other contact information you find online.

Wish you the best, but we have nothing to do with hired caregiving.
