The answer to this is as individual as a thumbprint. You alone can decide what your own limitations are. I know I see people every day on forum dealing with 24/7 care of elders in their own home; I would never be capable of this heroism for a single day, and know my own limitations well enough not even to try. I was perhaps up to taking on challenges more when I was younger.
Only you can answer the question. Only you can say "I have now passed the moment; I have now had more than I can bear. I am now done."
I wish you luck; clearly you are coming now to a time of decision making that has repercussions on yourself and on others.

Your first post was back in July and then another in August. You were given suggestions in both to help with the cost of caring for MIL? Have you been able to contact any of the agencies suggested?

Have new problems arose or just dealing with the old ones. We really need more info to be able to respond.

Too much what? A little history would help. What's your situation?
