You are a new poster, and your profile doesn’t give much information about your mother’s care needs or behavior. ‘Angry mother’ in posts varies from physical violence to being a bit unreasonable when they don’t get their drink immediately they ask. The ‘walk away’ answers so far assume ‘toxic’. There are lots of strategies that depend on what and why in less extreme situations. More information would help.

Listen for as long as you feel is [polite', then say "Mom, I am sorry YOU are CHOOSING to feel this way. I'll see you later."

Walk away.

Limit your exposure. Her anger is her own, not your fault and not yours to attempt to solve or fix
