Sometimes soaking through is wetting the bed. We are planning on going on a trip, staying with friends at their house and also at a hotel. Any ideas on how to handle it?
Abri care by Abeena has some really good products. One being a heavy pad that is long and can be inserted inside a depends. That helps alot. Do you use the briefs with tabs-like a diaper? Easier to manage changes and can wear a couple layers-brief, diaper, and a pad. Get disposable pads and quilted water proof pads for beds
Try overnight diapers. I put one on grandma before I go to sleep. She's good for 8-9 hours with it. Sometimes when I change it in the morning, it still could soak up much more.
My husband has incontinence issues as well. I purchased a waterproof mattress pad in the size of the bed he would be using in the hotel room. Call to check to see what size the bed is. When we got to the room, I would strip the bed, put on the mattress pad and remake the bed. I also took many bed pads to put under him. He also wore two briefs at night. I made sure that whatever hotel we stayed at had laundry facilities and took my own quarters, laundry soap, etc.
