Find Care & Housing
Be very careful of scams. My late step dad when in early dementia got involved in an online scam that bled him for money. By the time Mum found out about it, he had to declare bankruptcy.

It really surprises me that with Dementia people can still get around the internet. My Mom forgot how to use her cordless phone and the TV remote early in her Dementia. I guess its a longterm thing so they remember.

Are you asking what you can do about it? Hope he forgets his password. 😊

I hope you have POA. As such, you should secure your bank accounts. You asked back in Dec about Medicaid and paying for a nursing home, so I will assume you may still be considering it. If so, you can't remove his name off the account but you may be able to ask that he not be able to access it. Only you are authorized to sign any checks or set up any automatic withdrawals or withdrawls. If you bank online, change the password and don't tell him. If he complains he can't get on, tell him u will call the bank. When he asks if u have called, say yes you r waiting to be called back. Try to intercept any calls from potential "dates" explaining the situation. Contact the website administrator by email or if possible by phone and explain the situation. Maybe they can remove any profile he has and block his email addy/s.
