I am in search of emergency housing for an 84-year-old lady and her 62-year-old daughter who are being evicted from their place this week. Any advice?

Contact a tenant's rights attorney, free. See about a waiver, or a delay.
Do you know the reason for eviction?

Being evicted will make it difficult to find a place, but Adult Protective Services will work something out for the older lady.

If either one is a veteran or widow, VA (Department of Veterans Affairs) might also help. The local Area on Aging may be another resource.

They must go to Social Services and ask for help. They will put them up temporarily and try to find them housing. They will not allow an 84 yr old to be homeless. Do not take them in because you may not be able to get rid of them.
