She is in a wheelchair. I want to enroll her in an adult day care facility.  I would like information on the process. Are there transport services to the facility each day. Is there financial assistance if she is on Medicare? I know there are many things to consider, any information would be very helpful.

Find Care & Housing
Go to the director of the facility you are interested in, they are likely to know more about applying and whether they can accept Medicaid pending or even out of state Medicaid, and all the other answers.

Careandshare, check with the adult day care facility to see if your Mom can qualify to be part of the group, I see from your profile that your Mom has Alzheimer's/Dementia, there might be certain requirements, such as being able to use the restroom on their own.

Medicare doesn't offer any financial assistance. Like Guestshop had mentioned, if your Mom is on Medicaid, she will need to apply to the State of Maryland Medicaid.... please note each State has their own rules, regulations, and programs.

Go to the blue bar near the top of the page and click on CAREGIVER SUPPORT, now you will see a drop down menu, click on "Find Agencies on Aging".

Contact your area agency of aging. They will be able to help you identify resources available in your area. If she is on Medicaid, you will have to apply all over again in your state. Some day care facilities have transport, some do not. Some cities have low cost or free para transport for wheelchair residents. These will normally have application process to get benefits. Bit start with area of agency.
