I was exhausted after taking care of my Love. Yes it was hard, very hard. But, I cared very much for him. He is gone and I have a home to get in order so I can sell it. MAYBE.We had a fire about a yr before he passed, so everything went into storage. Can you imagine having everything you own in boxes and having to unpack even before the Memorial.I think it got to me. I have had shaking of my body in different locations. Sometimes, (I have no control over it), my body will jerk. My handwriting has gotten so bad, I live in a small town and no matter how much I complain to my doctor (who is a good friend), he seems to dismiss my complaints. After the Memorial, he did put me on anti-depressants. (Due to family issues about MONEY).Maybe my body had just had enough, or maybe I too am seeing the onset of Parkinson's. I have a cousin who had palsy. I understand that is heretitary. At any rate, does anyone have the first steps to finding out if I do have parkinson's. Is there a test? The uncontrollable movements are difficult. I actually had a good day today..
I get that noise too sometimes. It's a little more frequent when I'm stressed. I also sometimes get a falling, jerking feeling -- once in a while it just happens, but when I was young I had several months of that feeling of falling and jerking awake after I lost my other grandpa. It was really bothersome, and the poor sleep does not help you feel any better.
I hope your doctor will take you seriously and get you to a neurologist. And I hope you feel better soon!
You could have post-traumatic-stress as I remember reading your journey with your mate, his illness, and passing, and stress related to his grown children. My gosh, it is almost a year ago, seemed like just yesterday.
My doctor just put me on anti-depressants, I use to refuse to take them in the past, it wasn't until I crashed and burned that I decided I needed some help. I have noticed the shaking isn't as much, which is good.
Don't overthink this.
Second, early Parkinson's tremors respond well to Benadryl (diphenhydramine). Take one at bedtime. I hope that helps. Godspeed.
