My husband was taking care of his mom for 6 years with no help from his family. So he placed her in a nursing home she has Damentia/Alzheimer's and it's getting worse. So now his sister who never been there trying to go behind his back to remove her is there anything we can do cause if we couldn't handle her I know she can't plus he have POA
Sounds like an Elder Law Attorney, who can act as a "mediator", [thus, not representing either party] might help. The whole family can sit at the table, ask questions, and if any legal questions come up, the Mediator can answer. Maybe a Social Worker could be present as this isn't their first rodeo. The nursing home could send over a list of what takes place every day.
You and hubby are doing what is in Mom's best interest, and the fact that she is doing better in the nursing home is a clear sigh that this is working.
