My mother (84) diagnosed with severe dementia is experiencing auditory (sound only) hallucinations. Right now, after being up since 6 a.m is conducting "yard sales" of her doll collection and even bargaining with these "people" This is so disturbing. Sometimes her hallucinations are quite scary, and I'm relieved that today they seem to be enjoyable to her, but I wish she'd fall asleep. Just wondering if anyone else out there has experienced this.
