In previous post u say LO is on Hospice and ur asking about a Hoyer lift.

I think ur LO has become bedridden. Its time for Depends and sponge baths. You really need to talk to the Hospice Nurse and see what options there r. You do not want to hurt yourself trying to hold up dead weight.

That's a hard place to be - is this because of a temporary injury or do you think it is permanent? If it has been a gradual weakness some PT help may help them regain enough strength to do a pivot transfer - otherwise it may be time to make some hard choices on whether or not you can continue to care for them an home.
