Do not quit you job. Hopefully a room in LTC will open up. In the meantime, continue with the Care giver.

Welcome to the Forum!

I read and re-read your post and I don't 'get it'. Do you have a question you want answered? Or are you simply stating your situation.

Even tho mom's house is paid off (which is GOOD)..she may come to a point where she cannot live alone (is that the living dynamic?)--and she will NEED the $$ from the house to pay for her care, most likely.

Don't quit your job. Look out for yourself.

Is your mom in the end stages of life? You make it sounds as if you expect her to pass at any moment.

Or is she moving to a NH?

Can you clarify the situation? Without more input we are all kind of in the dark.

Your sisters aren't being mean--it's just really hard to see someone age and become a whole new person. That's probably what your sister meant.

I am just making a statement she will be in a NH just matter of time , no she's not dying sorry , mom gets confused on the evenings , sundowning , mom ask me who's all here just me no one else but me she thinks other ppl are here . She can't ,be alone any more, that is why we have someone during the day to watch her till I get home.
