My mom seems ok but does not reason well. She is very forceful and manipulative. How do I get her to accept help? She refuses assistance.

Mgmelendez, I see your mother lives with you. Are you trying to get her to agree to having a caregiver come in? I know it is difficult to reason with people who are losing their reasoning ability. It may be that you will need to bring the person in as a "housekeeper" who is there to help you. Let us know a little more and people may have some good suggestions.
