My 87 year old dad still has his teeth. The front bottom ones are rotting. He has a terrible toothache now and because of all his medical issues, blood thinners etc. I don't know where to take him. He doesn't have a dentist here in Austin. And of course no dental insurance. HELP
Also, is there a dental school in your area? Usually they are looking for patients for their students to work with (learn on!), and offer services at very low rates.
One thing I wondered is if the UT had a school of dentistry. If they do, they may see your father for less. At your father's age, however, if I could swing the money, I would opt for the geriatric dentist.
I don't know about all dental offices but I know that my dentist offers financing through a 3rd party. I think the interest is pretty high but it's not quite as painful as a toothache ;-)
