Blessings to you. I am sorry for your loss. You fought a tough battle every day for a long time.

Please be gentle to yourself over the next several months.

I pray you have strength over the next several weeks to get through arrangements.

I’m sorry for your loss, and for how hard it all had become. Your mother was truly blessed to have you, even if she could never express it. You have much wisdom to offer, I’m glad to see you’ll stick around. Wishing you peace and healing in the days to come

Off kilter, I am so sorry for your loss. No matter how prepared we think we are, losing our mom is hard, especially under these circumstances. Be kind to yourself and know that you did the best you could for her.

May The Lord give you strength, peace and comfort during this new season in life.

We are living in the exact same hell. I would suggest multiple Ring cameras so if APS/ Sheriff shows up you have 24/7 video that will show you’ve not touched etc. in addition, every single time I leave my room. I turn the recorder on my phone and leave it running this way when she starts screaming and yelling at least I have some thing although it’s just showing that I remain calm and respectful despite. I also would recommend that you call and file a report from your point of view as her caregiver with APS .

I just went through this with my father about two years ago and I know that my mother is suffering from dementia however like yours, she refuses all medical care. The sheriffs have been called. They will not 5150 her because she has not threatened suicide and has not threatened me directly. Its heartbreaking, frustrating and incredibly exhausting. Hang in there and try to take care of yourself in this
