Find Care & Housing
pstegman: You are right, God does have a plan. I heard that on Sunday, do not worry about anything in your life, God has everything worked out. I was really praying that was true and when we say my moms doctor yesterday...I saw his miracle take place....all I could say was...Oh so this is how God was going to change things today... it was a miracle for that moment and I am looking forward to the next one!

PS, cancel the AL, I don't think she will be going back there.

If she stopped eating it may be time for Hospice. The doctor orders that, so have a long chat with her MD. Your disabled brother can get disabled housing, so talk to his social worker about possibilities. My prayers are with you. Remember, God has a Plan.

I know what you mean, there are times I feel like screaming out.."What the ==== next?" When you are dealing with a person with dementia or Alzherimer's you have absolutely NO IDEA what will happen next. I wake up everyday between anxiety and panic and anxiety because I do not know what the day will bring.

Your Mom is going through a lot and so are you. All I can say is try to stay positive and reassuring to your Mom. I have recently finally understood that I need to keep things very light and easy, if you get upset, so do they and it makes everything worse. I have been going through this for 8 years and I am really exhausted.

Good Luck
