I am a 86yr old widow & have lived happily in Bonita for 52 years, but as of last Fall my neighbors have gutted the house (the demolition filled our Cul D Sac air full of debris coating everything). The almost ten months of this restoration/remodeling has been constant disruption and inconvenience. The mess and noise and streets covered with trucks intruding on this old neighborhood. Sometimes trucks almost blocking our driveway making it difficult to get out.The breaking point came this week when they had pavers put in around the pool and new outdoor room trimming with a concrete cutter that was not using the required water attachment, and then using a blower to blow clouds of that concrete dust over toward my property for hours and hours. We have videos of this going on. Now every plant, the furniture outside EVERY SURFACE is now covered with this concrete dust. It is my understanding breathing this dust is extremely unhealthy. Much of it has seeped into the house even though we did (and still are keeping our windows and doors closed) which in summer is unacceptable to have to do). They have started a huge area in front with the pavers. These people live right behind me so they are aware of what goes on next door. They are both attorneys so it is intimidating. No respect; no consideration. What is my recourse?
In my area, we have "7 on your side" that investigates, mediates, and reports on things like you are going through. This website is not the mainstream media, so using it to expose these people won't work here. However, taking the abuses to the news can be effective. imo.
Best wishes, I hope you are able to resolve your situation.
