Any others with a similar experience? How did you recover, if you did.

I find myself 20 pounds heavier and less motivated to do much of anything like I used to.

Open to others perspectives and how to find myself again without giving in to depressive thoughts like "why bother," "we are all going to die."

Thank you.

Find Care & Housing
Well, if I was living in Hawaii I would spend more time on the beach, playing in the ocean and being in the rain forest, just being outdoors. I believe being outdoors helps us rebalance.

We find ourselves by living our lives. Moving beyond our comfort zone and getting up and doing something, anything even when we don't feel like it.

Yes, your question doesn't tie up with your profile. You are new on the site, you need to provide more information if you want sensible replies that might help.

I just checked your profile which says you are still caregiving for a friend. How does that fit with your title which suggests you have finished caring for others? What kind of educating do you do? A little more information would be helpful.

Sounds like you are a bit depressed. Have you thought of therapy and some medication if warranted? ((((((hugs))))))
