My mom is tasting water as salty. Anyone know a way I could get her to drink water? Currently just adding more water in her milk but afraid this is not enough. Appreciate any tips!
I find water to be too boring in flavor for my personal taste, so I use the MIO flavored water drops in my water every day, and it makes it so much easier for me to get the daily water amounts my body needs from getting dehydrated. And at this point in my life I only drink water(other than my 1 cup of coffee in the morning), so it's much more enjoyable with just a touch of flavor to it.
I wish I loved MIO. To me it tastes like Kool-Aid and I think of Jim Jones every time I drink it. My son-in-law loves the stuff and sent me some as Christmas stocking stuffers; now I am stuck with it.
Does she love coffee or tea? Because I hate plain water, but do well with a few spoonsful of coffee in it. I have never heard of anyone experiencing water as salty, so maybe run that past the doc next you see him or her. I looked up this odd thing, and it turns out that some people are very sensitive to water softners, and water treated with that can taste salty. So my question is, does ALL water taste salty to her? They say that there can be a backwash from some treatment methods. Worth checking out and eliminating as a cause.
