Find Care & Housing
Where and who is providing Respite care?
Respite can take place in the home or in a facility.
If in a facility you can expect the same level of care that any other resident receives and the care should be fitted to the need of the person getting the care.
If it is in your home you should expect that the care meet the needs of your loved one.
I had the option of getting Respite Care for my Husband either in my home or in a facility if I needed Respite. Most times respite takes place in a facility. Often you can not select the facility it may be based on what facility that has an agreement with who or whatever agency is paying for Respite and if they have a bed available.

I assume every facility is different and you would have to look at what the various places offer. An assisted living facility will offer certain things and a nursing home will offer more.
