What is your go-to reading when you're stressed and need comfort?

i second the cozy mysteries but generally i turn to tv if stressed and in need of comfort, not books. i do blow through a lot f audiobooks and podcasts. but reading tires me quickly anymore and i always put it down after a couple pages.

I use audiobooks. Love them.

I like cozy mysteries. Not a lot of characters. I read before I go to sleep so want a plot that doesn't have too many ins and outs that I can easily pick up the next night.

I don't do audio. Have tried but my mind wanders.😊

The Mitford Series, by Jan Karon.

I think I’ve read each one, four times, through.

The audio books are OUTSTANDING. My dd even listened to them when she was afraid to go to sleep at night.

My mother read all of the Mitford books before she went blind. I never have gotten into them.
