I have an aunt who has stage 4 cancer and not physically able to walk by herself in hospice in baltimore and I'm trying to transport her to a facility in Memphis but she has to travel by bed.

Artemis, you would need to hire a medical transporter which is similar to an ambulance to drive from Baltimore to Memphis. Please note, transporters are costly.

May I ask if your Aunt is on Medicaid [which is different from Medicare] or is she self-pay? If she is on Medicaid, then Medicaid stops the Maryland State line. Your Aunt would need to apply and wait to qualify in Tenn. Each State is different when it comes to rules, regulations, and programs.
