62 and 69 yrs old married couple looking for an apartment to live in. We need some help with his foot care making him comfortable. He has had 2 possibly 3 strokes, high BP, arthritis bad, diabetes (pills) just not happy, likes to go out to eat, movies, games etc. I have diabetes (pills) diabetic nephropathy, asthma, copd, mental illness, a lot of pain in neck, nausea, lite headed. Neither one of us can do housework or in and out side maintenance. We don't drive so transportation is VIP. We like it quiet and no kids and safe neighborhood is a plus. I also use oxygen. I do not want to be in a facility but a nice lg apartment thats affordable. We have 1 cat. We might need help funding this. Someone please advise. We can't live like this much longer. We need help. I take 17 pills throughout the day for various reasons. I don't get around very well anymore. Make okay money but just enough money but its so much that we just go barely over the limit so we don't get any financial assistance, its a bad situation and we don't know what to do. We own a mobile home that will have to be sold and we'll need help moving. I hope someone can guide us in the right direction.
