Try to find out if your wife is afraid of the shower; is she afraid of slipping? Shower/water shoes can help a lot (on Amazon). If falling concerns her, buy a shower chair and a grab bar to install in the shower. Anti slip rug or flowers for the bottom of the shower work well too. You can think about hiring a female caregiver to come in to the house to help your wife bathe also, which may make her feel more comfy. A removable shower head is also a good thing for a dementia sufferer b/c it gives her more control over where the water is sprayed
