Will Medicare cover extended stay?

Dad was to be discharged from rehab SNF on day 19, but tested positive for COVID on day 17 and must quarantine before returning to AL. Will Medicare cover 100% for extended stay?

I doubt it. But then he got COVID from the facility. You could ask the SW but she is an employee of the NH. I would call Medicare and run it by them. Maybe even his supplimental.

I think you should speak to the social worker at the facility.
