Afterwards, I realized I was really good at making her comfortable and I went on to get my CNA LICENSES, WAS LICENSED FOR CPR., worked in an Assisted Living, Nursing Home and as private care sitter.
We moved to a rand in Carlsbad; NM and because of my work on the ranch my license expired.

Congratulations on following your dream and especially for discovering it when you took care of your mother. I think it was a reasonable practice period for you. My father is not in stable health, so I also had to provide him with home care for a year. It was pretty tricky for me to do this, and I thought an assistant would cost me too much. services that are pretty affordable for me, so I did not hesitate to request the help of specialists.

It is so nice to hear you following your dream and especially for discovering it when you took care of your mother. I think it was a reasonable time for you. My father is not in a stable condition right now, so I also had to provide him with home care for a year. It was pretty tricky for me to do this, and I thought an assistant would cost me too much. But then I discovered the cost of live-in care services that turned out to be pretty affordable for me, so I did not hesitate to request the help of specialists.

In my State CNA certification is done by the Nursing Board. Find out in NM who oversees CNAs. A hospital should be able to give you the info. See if they except your States accreditation or you will need to retake the test and CPR training? In my State CPR recertification is done yearly. Each state may have there own criteria for CNA training.

Your profile doesn't provide any insight into your question, and it's unclear whether or not you're sharing the uplifting news about your career and caring for your mother, or whether you're asking about how to renew your license.

I do congratulate you on following your goal and working in a drastically needed profession.

If you're wondering about license renewal (and I'm unfamiliar with this license), I would think that the NM state licensing authority could advise you.  Also, how and from which agency were you able to be licensed in the state you lived in before you moved?
