My Dad's currently living with my brother. His wife takes care of him. I'm in charge of his medical and finances. I will like to get information on assistance(financial) for my brother's wife as she is currently taking care of my father. He is 84 years old, has dementia and other problems. He can't do much anymore on his own.
I agree with Jessie, your sister-in-law should be paid for caring for your dad. Call your local area Agency on Aging, they should be able to help you find all sorts of resources whether your dad has money or not.
There are two great articles written by AgingCare.com editor’s that were already posted in our community. We thought this might answer your caregiving question.
