Kahl, welcome!

Your profile is instructive:

"I'm taking care of my father and he's being taken advantage of by a woman who is trying to get money from my father and from another man my father is getting very confused with the woman who keeps breaking up with him and hurting him my father has now set up a bank account for her in the Ukraine set the money goes to her when she dies"

Are you afraid what will happen to dad if you go away?

So why aren't you dealing with the problem instead of going away?

How is the "joint" section worded?   Do you have to make decisions with someone else, or is worded in such a way that either of you can act.

Notwithstanding, you can go on vacation, but let the other joint proxy know how you can be reached, how long you'll be away, etc.
