Hello

My Mom used the PureWick Catheter system. I bought several boxes, two of which remain unopened. Each catheter is individually wrapped and sealed.

I see these boxes sold on Amazon for about $500 (some are much more), which is about what I paid. I'm trying to sell each box of 30 for $300, but am having a hard time figuring out where to post. I'm just trying to recoup some of my cost to cover other medical expenses.

Does anyone have any ideas where to sell? I don't think people can just sell on Amazon??

The above listing on eBay was for 94 Purewick female catheters that sold for $500 plus extra for shipping (buyer pays). You can sell yours on eBay and use this listing to copy forward from. Under the photo it says "Sell one like this" which is where you click to do so. Set up an account on eBay first so you can take payments via PayPal (set up a Paypal account too if you don't already have one); eBay will take a cut of your gross as well as Paypal *2.5% for Paypal and around 10% for eBay* Take photos of the boxes/units with your phone to put on the listing and voila, you will get rid of them. You can sell them via auction feature or Buy It Now for a set price. eBay is quite idiot-proof too these days, so it's easy to navigate.

It's doubtful you'll get $300 for a box of 30 b/c the resale market is not at all like the sales market for new. But you never know; sometimes auctions get bid up very high when there are a few people who are interested bidders. A box of 26 recently sold for $160 Buy it Now:

Yes, you can also become a seller on Amazon but I do not know the process for doing so.

Facebook Marketplace is another place to try selling; it's free and you can offer shipping or local porch pick up, too.

Here's a listing for a box of 30 for $350:

Good luck!

Craigslist is good for the local area and costs about $5 for an ad.

There was someone on this forum willing to buy the system that someone was trying to sell. I understand that Medicare no longer pays for the supplies? If so, there is probably a market out there for it.

Yes, Medicare's change is how I ended up with two boxes we no longer need. Thank you for your reply :-)
