Is your Loved One becoming distressed or anxious because s/he is unable to understand what is happening?

Are you able to summarise the information in a simpler, clearer format?

My mother still has access to all her numbers. When she asks about her money I reassure her that she has enough to last if she doesn't have to go in a nursing home. I don't discuss the details with her, because it would be more information than she could take in. Churchmouse's advice is exactly what I would have given.
